Der Dtm-Clan wurde 1999 gegründet und war hauptsächlich in Unreal Tournament aktiv.
Von UT99 bis UT3 wurde mit 2 aktiven Teams in verschiedenen Ligen mitgespielt, daher ist dtm][ auch einigen UT-Spielern ein Begriff.

Ab UT3 ging diese Zeit langsam zuende, da die neuen Versionen einfach nicht mehr mit dem guten alten Unreal Tournament mithalten konnten und nach ca. 7 Jahren UT auch die Luft etwas raus war.

Zwischenzeitlich gab es immer mal ein paar Spieler/Teams die in anderen Spielen mehr oder weniger aktiv waren. Z.B. Quake3, Quake4, Warcraft3, Quake Live und Rappelz, somit war bei Dietmar eigentlich seit 1999 immer etwas los und das Grundgerüst blieb in Kontakt.

Mit WoW ist anscheinend die Ära der MMORPGS angebrochen, daher haben die Dietmars sich dazu entschlossen, mit der Gilde Asgard (Runes of Magic) einen extra MMO Bereich einzuführen und somit wieder etwas aktiver zu werden. Hier ein Dankeschön an Thorvald, den Leader von Asgard.

Doch auch das ist schon wieder ein paar Jahre her.. nach Runes of Magic haben wir es mit SWTOR versucht und waren dort auch lange aktiv. Diverse Browsergames, unter Anderem auch C&C Tiberium Alliances wurden auch geklickt. Dort waren wir als „Last Action Heroes“ auch eine Runde sehr gut dabei.

Im Moment sind wir zum Funclan mutiert und es werden wohl hauptsächlich SC2, D3, Heroes of the Storm und Hearthstone gespielt. Auch GTA5 und die UT-Pre-Alpha werden angesehen. Mal sehen, was die Zukunft bringt 😉

Neue Map live!

Heute ging Pc Patch #15 online, hier die Patchnotes:

NEW MAP: SANHOK

  • Added a new map: Sanhok (pronounced “sah-nok”)
    • Sanhok is 4km x 4km map (one fourth the size of Erangel or Miramar). Although games tend to end a little more quickly on this tiny island, battles are still massive. Every game still features 100 players. 
    • Certain settings have been customized specifically for Sanhok to better fit its unique design. Details are below.
    • Performance
      • Faraway players and vehicles aren’t rendered the same way on Sanhok, resulting in some server performance improvements.
    • Gameplay
      • Weather in Sanhok changes dynamically. 
      • Players can throw apples while waiting to board the plane in the in-game lobby.
    • Redzone
      • The redzone is smaller and shorter-lasting on Sanhok. 
      • The center of the redzone appears outside of the playzone (the white circle). This means players are more at risk when outside of the playzone.
    • Bluezone
      • Bluezone on Sanhok has shorter waiting times and longer travel times.
      • The bluezone is also dynamic. It checks remaining player numbers before deciding the next circle, adjusting the waiting time and travel time accordingly (this doesn’t affect circle size).
    • Spawn Balance
      • The item spawn rules have been customized on Sanhok to get you equipped for battle faster.
        • ARs, SMGs, and DMRs are spawned more often. The total item spawn rate has been increased 5% compared to that found in the fourth round of Sanhok testing.
        • 8x scopes and 15x scopes don’t spawn on Sanhok. However, they may still be obtained from care packages.

Fortnite Battle Royale Patchnotes v 4.4

Limited Time Mode: Final Fight: Teams of 20

Summary

Survive the countdown! The Storm Circles give players more room to hunt down opponents. The final circle triggers a countdown timer; when the time is up, the team with the most players remaining wins. In this LTM, teams can tie for the Victory Royale!

Mode Details

  • Final Fight plays similar to standard Battle Royale, but instead of the Storm circles closing all the way, the Storm stops after the 3rd circle.
  • When the circles have finished closing in, the final countdown timer will begin.
  • The remaining teams will battle it out until the timer expires.
  • The team with the most players remaining at the end of the timer wins!
  • In the event of a tie, the two (or more) teams tied for the lead win the match.

Weapons + Items

  • Stink Bomb added.
    • Creates a stinky cloud that deals 5 damage every half-second within the cloud.
    • 9-second duration.
    • Epic rarity.
    • Can be found from floor loot, chests, and Vending Machines.
    • Loot in stacks of 3 with a maximum stack of 5.
  • Increased the reload time of the Rocket Launcher based on rarity.
    • Rare from 2.3 seconds to 2.8.
    • Epic from 2.185 seconds to 2.66.
    • Legendary from 2.07 to 2.52.
  • The maximum number of unloaded Rocket Ammo that can be held has been changed to 12.

Bug Fixes

  • Enemy built structures are no longer lit up by the thermal scope.
  • Cozy Campfires are now lit by the thermal scope.

Gameplay

Bug Fixes

  • Back Bling no longer appears detached from players at a distance.
  • Fixed the two intersecting busses on the starting island.

Performance

  • Fixed performance issues on Switch related to frequently called time functions during gameplay (especially when skydiving).
  • Level streaming optimization to smooth out some hitches during skydiving on Switch.

Audio

Bug Fixes

  • The music for the Fresh emote has been re-added.
  • Fixed attenuation of Supply Drop opening sound so it doesn’t sound like it’s right next to players even if it’s opened far away.
  • The Clinger explosion sound now plays properly if detonated directly next to you on iOS/Switch platforms.

UI

  • Added the “Net Debug Stats” HUD UI option for Xbox.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a crash that could happen after buying items in the Item Shop.
  • When using styleable outfits, your last saved version will always appear in the locker preview.

Battle Royale

General

  • Intelligent Delivery/Split Download (Xbox).
    • This is a new method for patching Fortnite. Battle Royale will only download the files necessary to play, which allows for smaller download sizes on future updates.

Limited Time Mode: Sniper Shootout v3

Summary

In this Limited Time Mode, players will do battle using snipers & scoped assault rifles.

What’s New since v2?

  • Scoped Assault Rifles have been added to floor loot & chests.
  • The Crossbow has been removed.
  • Ammo drop rates have returned to normal.
    • Ammo boxes had extra ammo in v2.
  • Epic & Legendary Sniper Rifles are no longer limited to chests & Supply Drops.
    • Can now be found as floor loot as well.

Mode Details

  • The only available weapons are Sniper Rifles and Scoped AR’s.
  • Floor Loot spawns are reduced by 50%.
  • Building resources received from farming reduced by 25%.
  • Reviving „Down But Not Out“ teammates in Duos & Squads is deactivated, players are immediately eliminated.
  • Profile Stats are tracked in this mode.

Limited Time Mode: 50v50 v3

Summary

Two teams of fifty players fight to the finish!

What’s New since v2?

  • A new, larger Storm circle has been added to the beginning of the match.
  • Extra supply drops fall in the new circle, giving more players a chance to find an open one.
  • Supply drops now come in batches of 4-8 (up from 3-6), fall every two minutes, and only lands in the first two Storm circles.
  • The damage applied over time while in the Down But Not Out state has been changed to the default of 2 damage per tick.
  • Bonus resources earned from farming reduced from +75% to +25%.
  • The Storm circles are now more likely to bias towards the center of the map, this helps make the bus flight path less important.

Mode Details

  • Each team has a bus, approaching the island from opposite directions. On the map, the friendly bus has a blue outline, the enemy has a red outline.
  • The map has a dotted line, which indicates the „battle lines“ between the two teams. Crossing the line will make running into enemies more likely.
  • Due to this being a „large squad“ mode, Profile Stats will not be tracked. Daily & Weekly challenges will still work, with the exception of the Squad-based challenges.

Loot

  • Increased chances of chests spawning from 50-70% to 75-90%.
  • Increased chances of ammo boxes spawning from 65-80% to 75-90%.
  • Farming resources increased by 25% over the default.
  • Increased floor loot spawn likelihood by 15%.
  • Floor loot spawns double ammo.
  • Ammo boxes spawn triple ammo.
  • Chests spawn double ammo & consumables.
  • Supply drops spawn double ammo, an extra consumable, resource, and trap.

Weapons + Items

      • 36-37 base damage. 
        • Can see chests, Supply Drops, enemy heat signatures, and more.

  • Renamed ‘Assault Rifle with Scope’ to ‘Scoped Assault Rifle’
  • The maximum range of most weapons increased to 275 meters from 250 meters to match the distance that players are visible.

  • Shopping Carts no longer cause client crashes and have been re-enabled
  • The Bouncer Trap no longer floats in the air.
  • Crouching while scoped in Loot Lake will no longer cause your view to be underwater.

Gameplay

  • A new soccer stadium has been added to the northern area of the map.

Bug Fixes

  • Pickaxes are no longer missing from the quick bar for players who join the match late.
  • Currently equipped traps no longer change to a different trap unexpectedly when trying to place one into an empty space.
  • Lightly pulling backward on the gamepad movement thumbstick while in the Shopping Cart will no longer make you move forward.
  • Players will no longer get stuck shooting their weapon when switching seats and firing simultaneously in the Shopping Cart.
  • Passengers ejecting from the Shopping Cart at high speeds will no longer get a large impulse.
  • Players will no longer crash when viewing friends leaderboard.
  • Improved interaction of players and Shopping Carts with soccer and basketballs.
  • Improved network simulation of soccer and basketballs when kicked by other players.
  • The Shopping Cart will no longer destroy unbreakable objects.

  • Shopping Carts will no longer float in the air after the platform they were on is destroyed.

Performance

  • Client and server optimizations for Shopping Carts.
  • Fixed a hitch on mobile when landing.
  • Rendering CPU optimizations for all platforms.
  • Fixed an issue where antivirus software was causing hitches on PC.

Audio

  • The following adjustments have been made to footstep audio.
    • Increased the volume of enemy footsteps by 25%.
    • Changed volume falloff of footsteps from Logarithmic to Linear.
    • Increased range of footsteps by one building tile.
  • Added more detail to the Battle Bus audio.
  • Lowered the volume of Hop Rocks activation, deactivation, and in-use sounds.
  • Made the teleport rez-in sound when returning to the lobby more subtle.
  • Improved soccer and basketball audio by adding rolling and bouncing sounds.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed cases where certain sounds wouldn’t play in highly populated areas like Tilted Towers or the pre-game island.

UI

  • Added in a new style for the options screen.
  • Replays from the E3 Fortnite Pro-Am are now available to view inside the client. 

Bug Fixes

  • HP bars no longer only show 1 HP if you switch between teammates while spectating.
  • Interact prompts no longer display on chests for Shopping Cart passengers.

Art + Animation

  • Updated the Battle Bus visuals and animations.
    • Battle Bus now has animating parts and flashing party lights when flying.  
    • All battle bus models in the world have higher resolution.

Bug Fixes

  • Animations will now play properly when exiting the Shopping Cart while simultaneously switching seats.
  • Opening effects will now properly play after searching Supply Drops.
  • “Wavey” effects now properly appear on Willow trees.
  • Fixed an issue where sprays where not displaying correctly on some objects.

Replay System

Waffen und Gegenstände

Die Rausschmeißerfalle ist jetzt im Spiel.
Ist eine seltene Falle.
Kann in 3er-Stapeln in Schatztruhen, Vorratslieferungen, Vorratslamas und auf dem Boden gefunden werden.
Kann auf Böden und an Wänden platziert werden.
Erhöht eure Sprungkraft nach oben oder zur Seite.

Bau-Anpassungen

wir nehmen die folgenden Änderungen vor, um einige Probleme im Spiel anzugehen – unter Anderem: die Dominanz von Raketen- und Granatenwerfern im späten Spielverlauf, die Effektivität von Miniguns und die allgemeine Menge an Ressourcen. Wir werden die Auswirkungen dieser Änderungen genauestens mitverfolgen und gegebenenfalls weitere Anpassungen durchführen.

Lootlamas

Materialstapel wurden pro Ressource von 500 auf 200 reduziert.
Menge an explosiver Munition wurde auf einen Stapel reduziert.

Schadenreduzierung aus der Distanz gegen Gebäude wurde von Gewehren, Maschinenpistolen, Pistolen und leichten Maschinengewehren entfernt.

Auf dem Boden liegende Materialien
Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, Material auf dem Boden zu finden wurde um 33 % reduziert.
Die Größe von auf dem Boden liegenden Materialstapeln wurde um 33 % reduziert.

Munitionsanpassungen
Stapelgröße von leichter Munition wurde von 12 auf 18 erhöht.
Menge an explosiver Munition wurde um 50 % reduziert.

Minigun-Anpassungen
Die Genauigkeit wurde um 10 % erhöht.
Die Menge an leichter Munition, die zusammen mit der Minigun gefunden wird wurde von 60 auf 90 erhöht.
Schaden gegen Gebäude wurde von 25 auf 30 erhöht.

C4-Explosionsradius gegen Gebäude wurde von 400 auf 600 erhöht.

Sturmschaden in “20er Teams” wurde angepasst

Der Schaden von Sturmkreis 1 wurde von 10 auf 1 verringert.
Der Schaden von Sturmkreis 2 wurde von 10 auf 2 verringert.
Der Schaden von Sturmkreis 3 wurde von 10 auf 4 verringert.

Battle Royale

Weapons + Items

  • Jetpack added.Jetpack.png
    • Legendary Rarity.
    • Found in Treasure Chests.
    • The Jetpack is the first of a new item type: Backpacks.
      • Backpacks take an inventory slot (like weapons & consumables) and can be moved to different positions.
      • Only one Backpack can be carried at a time.
        • If you pick up a different Backpack, it will be automatically swapped with the one currently equipped.
      • When a Backpack is fully consumed, it will be automatically destroyed.
      • While a Backpack is equipped, your Back Bling cosmetics will be hidden.
        • Back Bling will be reapplied when the Backpack is no longer equipped.
    • The Jetpack is engaged by jumping while in mid-air, providing additional mobility.
      • While flying, there is a limited duration it can be used before it must charge again.
        • Recharge begins when the Jetpack is not in use.
      • You can not enter Targeting Mode while in the air.
        • On controller, using the Targeting Mode input will trigger the Jetpack.

  • Remote Explosives
    • They will now damage all structures within range, whether or not they are visible from the explosion center.
    • Damage radius and throw distance have been increased.
    • Delay between sequential explosions has been reduced from 0.25 seconds to 0.175 seconds.
    • Delay before detonating a charge or throwing another one has been reduced from 0.75 seconds to 0.15 seconds.
  • Removed the delay between swapping to a grenade and the ability to aim it.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where Remote Explosives could destroy the meteor in Dusty Divot.
  • Assault Rifles no longer appear to eject multiple bullet casings per shot.
  • Fixed an issue preventing players from using the Launch Pad when multiple players activated it at the same time.

Gameplay

  • Added ‘Auto-Pickup’ option for pickups on PC and consoles.
    • This will automatically pick up Weapons and Consumables when walking over them (as long as inventory slots are still empty). They will be placed in the next available inventory slot.
    • This option can be enabled in the Settings menu.
  • 50v50 V2 Adjustments
    • DBNO damage per tick lowered from 10 to 5.
    • Chest spawn rate increased from 50-70% to 75-90%.
    • Final circle is shortened from 5 minutes to 3 minutes.
      • This last circle exists for 60 seconds before gradually closing in over an additional 60 seconds.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where Turbo Building would stop if you pressed another button before releasing the other.
  • Fixed an issue allowing players to bypass weapon equip times after canceling a consumable use animation.
  • Players can no longer crouch through the vents of the research facility in Dusty Divot.
  • Fixed an issue causing door prediction to get stuck and make it so a player could never open doors.
  • Fixed an issue that caused an incorrect displaying of selected cosmetic items in the lobby.
  • Patched up a hole in the terrain near Lucky Landing.
  • Fixed an issue that made chests appear to be unopened when they have already been looted.
  • Fixed an issue allowing player to sprint at full speed in a section of the Loot Lake water.

Performance

  • Improved overall server performance.
    • The server tick rate has been increased from 20 to 30 updates per second.
    • This allows for more responsive movement and shooting, and reduces effective ping times for all players.
    • Network bandwidth has increased slightly.
  • Improved material loading by 2x, which should help buildings and characters stream in faster and reduce hitching.
  • Fixed large hitches that occurred when certain cosmetic items were encountered for the first time in a match.
  • Improved framerate when using Hop Rocks by optimizing its particle effect.
  • Fixed remote players appearing to jump far too high when their connection went bad or there was a server hitch.

Audio

  • To help differentiate between above/below footstep sounds, we’ve added an additional layer to steps that are above you based on the surface type.
    • Wood has creaks, Stone has crunches + gravel noises, and Metal has rattles.
  • Lowered the volume of the weak points that appear when harvesting 🔈.
  • Boosted the volume of Grenade Launcher explosions to more closely match volume of other explosions 🔊.
  • Improved how wind fades out prior to landing when using a glider.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that would cause audio to cut out on elimination.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause a spectated player’s footsteps/jumps/lands to sound like they were to the left/right if they were moving, especially when looking through a scope.

UI

  • Emoting in the lobby can now be triggered by clicking the right analog stick.
  • Added an emote button to the bottom of the screen while in the lobby.
  • Nvidia Shadowplay Highlights now defaults to off (PC only).

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that prevented map input from working while spectating.
  • Fixed an issue where teammate map indicators wouldn’t display during a match.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the consume timer from displaying while consuming a Hop Rock.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the trap placement UI to display while looking at surfaces that do not allow trap placement.
  • Fixed an issue where the minimap arrow wouldn’t display properly while spectating a player.
